Visit the full Help Centre →How do I open a bank account with Equatorial Bank?
You can start your application online through the Open an Account page. Choose your account type, provide your personal and identity information, upload your documents, and submit. You will receive a unique Application ID to track your progress. Account opening is reviewed by our team and is not instant.
What documents do I need to open an account?
Typically you will need a valid identification document (National ID, passport, driving permit or refugee ID), proof of address, and a recent passport-size photograph. Business accounts may require a certificate of incorporation and registration documents. Specific requirements are confirmed during the application process.
How can I track my account application?
Use the Track Your Application page and enter the Application ID you received when you submitted your application. You will see the current status, last update and next step.
What should I do if my card is lost or stolen?
Block your card immediately through digital banking if available, then report it through the Report Fraud page or contact our support team. You will receive a reference number to track your report.
How do I apply for a loan?
Visit the Apply for Finance page, choose your product, complete the eligibility and application steps, upload supporting documents and submit. Your application then goes through credit assessment. This form does not approve loans — credit decisions are made by authorised banking systems.
Is the loan calculator accurate?
The calculator provides estimates for planning only. It is not an offer of credit. Actual rates and terms are confirmed by the bank during your application based on credit assessment.
How do I access digital banking?
Digital banking is accessed through the Internet Banking login and the mobile banking app, once activated. The public website does not store your banking passwords or transaction credentials.
How do I report fraud or a suspicious message?
